Why were there originally two mayors? Did Antwerp’s town hall really burn down once? How did the town’s administrators communicate before www.antwerpen.be was launched? What actually goes on in the town hall? Why does the town hall need restoring?
The exhibition “450th anniversary of the town hall. The city’s best known house” will provide an answer to these and many other questions. In this exhibition visitors will learn more about this building’s history, the backdrop for four centuries of Antwerp politics.
