1. Why should I buy an Antwerp City Card?

The Antwerp City Card is the cheapest way of experiencing all of Antwerp. You receive free admission to all the museums and the cathedral as well as discounts for dozens of other attractions. What’s more you can also use public transportation and the HopNstop/City tour trolleybus for free. On top of your Antwerp City Card you also receive a handy information guide with a description of all the locations, a voucher booklet with all the discounts and a city map in a nice pouch.

2. Where can I use the Antwerp City Card?

The Antwerp City Card entitles you to free admission or a hefty discount for more than 50 attractions. Besides this you can also explore the city free of charge with public transportation.

3. Where can I buy the Antwerp City Card?

The easiest way to buy your Antwerp City Card is online. You will receive a letter of confirmation by e-mail, which entitles you to pick up your card and booklet with exclusive coupons from one of our visitor centres. The Antwerp City Card is obviously also available from our visitor centres on the Market Square 13 or at the Central Railway Station, or in FOMU | Fotomuseum.

4. How much does an Antwerp City Card cost?

The Antwerp City Card costs 27 euros for 24 hours, 35 euros for 48 hours, or 40 euros for 72 hours.

5. For how long can I use my Antwerp City Card?

You can use your card for 24, 48 or 72 hours, depending on the type of card you purchased. The card is activated the first time you use it. The validity period of your transport pass always starts on the day you purchase your Antwerp City Card. Do you want this to coincide with your first visit? Then tell the information desk assistant so they can fill in another date on the back of your card. The discount coupons and vouchers in the paper guide you receive with the Antwerp City Card are valid until end of January 2017. So do return to Antwerp if you haven’t used them all.

6. Does the Antwerp City Card include public transport?

Yes, during the validity period of your card you can use public transportation in Antwerp for free. Just use your Antwerp City Card as your bus or tram pass. You can find an overview of all the bus and tram lines on this website: www.delijn.be.

7. How does the Antwerp City Card work?

It’s simple. Have your Antwerp City Card scanned at the entrance of the attraction or museum that you’re visiting and your discount will immediately be deducted.

8. Can you visit the same museum more than once?

No, your Antwerp City Card entitles you to visit each museum just once. So make sure that you have explored every angle and corner of the MAS Museum or the Cathedral before leaving!
