The most beautiful pieces from the collection of the Silver Museum are exhibited here with the help of Umicore. Umicore is also known to the inhabitants of Antwerp by the name “De Zilver”. In the past, silver was a byproduct from the extraction of other minerals. Today, it mostly comes from recycling. Umicore has become the number one in the world for the refining and recycling of precious metals. Mobile telephones, laptops and autocatalysts from all over the world are all given a second life. You can visit the Silver Pavilion at the MAS for free from Tuesday to Sunday.
