Getting to Antwerp by ship

Calling at Antwerp by ship is a unique experience.

Ocean cruises moor in the city centre. Passengers are greeted by the sight of the Cathedral of Our Lady from the gangway. The cruise terminal (Steenplein) is just a five-minute walk from the historic city centre, the main shopping streets and the many pubs and restaurants in the city.

You can find information about sea cruises by clicking here. On the promenade you have an excellent view of the moored ships and it’s really worth your time to experience a departure.

You can find more information about cruise ships in Antwerp on this blog: http://cruiseshipsinantwerp.be/.

If you are travelling to Antwerp on a river cruise, then your boat may moor in one of two locations: the Scheldt quays or Kattendijkdok/Willemdok. They are both within walking distance of the city centre.

You’ll find information about river cruises by clicking here.

Do you want to sail to Antwerp with your own boat? Then you can moor in the marina on the Left Bank or in the Willemdok marina.
