Winter holiday in Antwerp

The most enjoyable and most surprising winter holiday destination this year is Antwerp. It may not have any mountains, but it ticks all the other boxes for a successful winter holiday. Book your stay now

During Winter in Antwerp, you cannot possibly fit everything in one day. Book your hotel or B&B in advance and enjoy the culinary delights at one of Antwerp’s many top restaurants. Enjoy Winter in Antwerp to the full.

And why not turn it into a real city trip and discover Antwerp properly with the Antwerp City Card? Those who book the Discover Antwerp package enjoy a special rate for both the City Card and for one or more nights at a participating hotel or B&B.

The Christmas market and so much more

We welcome everybody to the city on December 10 with a spectacular opening ceremony. Christmas shoppers can shop to their hearts’ content on retail Sundays and at the Christmas market. Anyone looking for more action can go skating on the ice rink at the Groenplaats or enjoy a ride on the slide on the Steenplein. Alternatively, you may like to take part in a guided walk or enjoy the wintry scenes from the Ferris wheel. And after a game of golf along the Scheldt and a drink at the winter bar, you will not want your Winter in Antwerp to end.

Moreover, the ZOO is launching a new edition of the magical China Light Festival this year. It is an enchanting light show with hundreds of huge light objects in the shape of colourful animals and flowers are scattered around the ZOO.
