You can also visit a new exclusive (free) exhibition ‘450th anniversary of the town hall. The city’s best known house’, which will run until 31 March 2017, so do take advantage of this! 

 

Tour: A town hall with a future. From Renaissance to restoration.

You explore the town hall from the cellar right up to the future “Illuminated Floor” (Verlicht Verdiep). The cherry on the cake is your walk through the “loggia”. On the so-called “Schoon Verdiep”, the locals’ name for the first floor, you can also visit the “wandelzaal” or galleria and admire the stunning stained glass windows.

Group visit - maximum 20 persons per guide.
When: every Sunday at 10 AM, 11 AM, 1 PM, 2 PM and 4 PM. From Sunday 6 March 2016 until Sunday 26 March 2017.
Duration: 2 hours.
75 euros per group and 5 euro booking fee.
 

Tour: A city palace for all citizens. An exhibition and tour in the town hall.

During this tour you combine a visit to the exhibition “450 years of the town hall. The city’s best known house” with a tour of the highlights of the town hall (the Council Chamber, the Wedding Chamber, the Loggia…). The emphasis is on the town hall’s significance, its administrative function and the building’s accessibility throughout the centuries and in the future.

Group visit - maximum 20 persons per guide.
When: every Tuesday at 1 PM, 2 PM, 3 PM and 4 PM. From Tuesday 1 March 2016 until Tuesday 28 March 2017.
Duration: 2 hours.
75 euros per group and 5 euro booking fee.
