If you like street art, then the “Art of Banksy” exhibition is right up your alley. The exhibition in Antwerp’s Stadsfeestzaal features more than 80 works by the controversial artist.
During the exhibition, you can see over 80 original works by Banksy, the world’s most famous street artist, which reflect the various aspects of his distinctive style. Banksy is primarily known for his stencilling (template) technique, combining dark humour with underlying political messages and social issues in his artworks. The exhibition highlights the continuing relevance of Banksy’s work. Visitors will definitely leave the exhibition with food for thought.
This Banksy exhibition was created thanks to the unique collaboration of 40 collectors. According to the exhibition’s curator, the likelihood of seeing so many of Banksy’s works in one location is rather small.
